Golf Ball Marker Etiquette
Mark it when needed
Mark your ball when it is on another player’s putting line or whenever you need to lift it. Set the marker directly behind the ball so it is easy to replace accurately.
Keep the line clear
Avoid standing in another player’s line or casting a distracting shadow. On a crowded green, small habits make the whole group feel more settled.
Replace it with care
When it is your turn, replace the ball in front of the marker and pick the marker up cleanly. It is simple, quick, and keeps the round moving.
